CAEC
The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) is a high-school equivalency accreditation.
It consists of 5 modules. The CAEC has replaced the GED in Canada.
Bridge to Success
Bridge to Success is an Employability Skills program that includes advanced academic classroom study, workshops, resume/cover letter writing, interview skills, and work placement training.
Digital Skills
Digital Skills: We teach computer and mobile skills so that you can become more comfortable in the use of common technologies. We tailor these classes to meet the specific needs of our Learners.
Who is PiCCoLA?
The Pictou County Continuous Learning Association (PiCCoLA) is a non-profit organization that serves Adult Learners (18+).
Our Learners can further their education by obtaining a Grade 12 equivalent (CAEC), increase their employability skills through Bridge to Success, and become more competent in the use of digital technology through our Digital Skills programs.
We offer instructor-led and blended learning solutions out of our New Glasgow office (174 Archimedes Street) and from our Pictou Office (21 Caladh Avenue). To learn with us, Adult Learners must be 18+ and have a valid Social Insurance Number.
